لِإِيلَٰفِ قُرَيۡشٍ
Because of Quraysh’s familiarity and experience —
106QurayshQurayshسُورَةُ قريش
Makkan · 4 ayat · 29th in order of revelation
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
إِۦلَٰفِهِمۡ رِحۡلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيۡفِ
Their familiarity and experience with the winter and summer journey —
فَلۡيَعۡبُدُواْ رَبَّ هَٰذَا ٱلۡبَيۡتِ
They should, therefore, conform to the Lord of this [consecrated] Temple,
ٱلَّذِيٓ أَطۡعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٖ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنۡ خَوۡفِۭ
Who has given them food in the aftermath of hunger and security in the aftermath of anxiety.
